| Tiivistelmä: | Manufacturing companies are usually good at recording component and assembly drawings; it is, after all, part of their daily business. However, they often fail to keep comprehensive records of related product data. This makes it difficult -- and often impossible -- for product designers and engineers to access pertinent information when they need it. It's estimated that in the manufacturing industry 50 per cent of product development time is spent tracking down information, maintaining multiple revisions of design studies. |
