| Tiivistelmä: | This paper investigates employment patterns in Chile following a substantial trade liberalization. The paper examines patterns of job creation and job destruction and relates these patterns to firms' size and trade orientation. During the investigation, this paper brings together and contributed to three recent literatures. One of these literatures looks closely at patterns of job creation and destruction and is found in Davis at al. (1996). |
