| Tiivistelmä: | This paper discusses initiatives offering employees (here as: empls.) the right to exchange certain items within an agreed package of employment conditions. The authors examine the actual choices made by the empls. of Radboud University Nijmegen from 2002 to 2004. The results cast doubt on the efficiency and the effectiveness of empl. choices within collective agreements, contradict the union's push for working time reduction and question wage moderation and policies on work-life balance. |
