| Tiivistelmä: | Management Support Systems are information and control systems based on modern computers,information and communication technology. They have two main parts,namely the Executive Information Systems and the Decision Support Systems. The most important components and characteristics of these systems. For the users' comfort it is easy to communicate with the data base of Management Support Systems. The man-machine dialogue is made simple. Development of the functional subsystems is explained. Three groups of specialists take part in the systems analysis and design. The expert systems can be seen as a future development phase of Management Support Systems. |
