Tiivistelmä:Organizational dimensions of the introduction of a marketing information system are discussed. Fear of the unknown, changes in power structure and conflicts are described as the most important issues. Research data from users of marketing information systems in 33 companies were collected. Research methodology is described. Findings are summarized. A number of organizational factors potentially damaging to information system implementation have been measured through the perceptions of user-managers. Perceptions were quite favorable. The most important factors were selected. Significant associations are analyzed.
