| Tiivistelmä: | People who are dealing with economic problems in real life situations often demand for a more practical university education. Nowadays it is almost impossible to satisfy this demand. There are hundreds of students in every class, moreover a great majority of teachers are not well prepared for this kind of work. University teachers primarily have to take part in different research programmes. A number of difficulties are mentioned which paralyze the efforts to get out of this schizophrenic situation. The future of university as a human service institution is cleared up. |
