| Tiivistelmä: | The traditional New Deal system will be altered in the US because the environment has changed. The current scene presents a rich array of possibilities in the change of industrial relations (IR). There are examples where trade unions are broken and labour costs dramatically lowered, while there are cases where labour and management have joined together to design new IR. No doubt most cases will fall somewhere in between and the central tendency of IR for years ahead in the US will depend upon a range of factors. |
