Tiivistelmä:The most common tools and methods of marketing used as forms and channels of communication are now under the cost-reduction pressures. Marketing managers` constant efforts to find alternative solutions are described. The potential roles of company newsletters and magazines are evaluated. A survey of 1000 companies has shown that these types of publications are widely known, but their impact on business partners is not at all satisfactory. Articles dealing with new products, services were found to be the most useful from marketing point of view. Among the respondents reading these publications 25,2pc reported that they were decision-makers, 23,6pc had influence on the buying decision-making process.
