| Tiivistelmä: | Differences in managerial values between practitioners in different cultures and between members of subcultures were measured. The hypothesis tested was that very little change takes place in managerial values over a period of 21 years. The instrument used was a longitudinal study and ranking of 15 characteristics of the ideal manager. The results of the study are concluded in the following way: managers cannot change values in a vacuum; the other elements of the society will change very slowly; permanent management changes will be integral with the changes in the society. |
