Tiivistelmä:Multinational companies are described as being interested in promoting corporate culture to improve control, coordination, and integration of their subsidiaries. The differences between national and corporate culture of the multinational company are presented as hindering career planning, appraisal and compensation systems, selection and socialization. Assumptions about people and the world underlying human resource management as they differ from those of the national culture of the subsidiary, are discussed.
