| Tiivistelmä: | The authors aimed to construct a process model of union loyalty. They hypothesized various variables to predict union loyalty, which in turn would cause greater participation in essential union activities. They found that union loyalty caused greater formal participation in union activities and that perception of union instrumentality, extrinsic job satisfaction and early socialization experiences predicted union loyalty. However race moderated the nature and strength of these relationships. |
