| Tiivistelmä: | Electricity generation is a regulated industry. The price of electricity is determined by the state, relying on detailed cost information. The problem dealt with in the article is whether amortisation (which accounts for 50 % of the cost of electricity) has to be based on historic or on replacement cost or partly (for the credit financed part) on historic and partly (for the self- financed part) on replacement cost. |
