| Tiivistelmä: | In 1986 Polish Minister of Communication issued a regulation defining the way of getting separate permits for installation of satellite TV receivers. By now 2000 to 3000 permits have been issued. But the local origination studio was unregulated, so in Warsaw a housing estate rigged a satellite dish to the existing master antenna MATV system and created SMATV system. The residents got in touch with Sky and Super Channel companies directly and received written assurances that the programmes could be downlinked without charge. |
