| Tiivistelmä: | Financial innovation has certainly been the most noteworthy of the major evolutions in corporate management during the 1980s. In both France and the USA, a considerable number of new financial instruments and systems have been developed. Not surprisingly, the number of laws governing the financial sector have also multiplied. This legal framework which has developed in parallel with financial innovation is analysed. This framework is sometimes taking on spectacular forms such as in the case of takeover operations. But it is also demonstrated how these new financial practices have contributed to the evolution of the law. |
