| Tiivistelmä: | The model presented represents an institution in which there are strong parallel centres of authority in the central administration and individual academic departments. An effective policy of international exchange must be a confluence of the various pressures emanating from these centres. Coordination between departments and the centre is most important at two points: the development of new exchange schemes and the administration of individual students or staff on existing incoming and outgoing schemes. |
