| Tiivistelmä: | Performance appraisal continues to be a subject of interest and importance to human resource specialists. For decades, performance appraisal has received considerable attention in the literature , from both researchers and practitioners alike. The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether traditional trends in performance appraisal have persisted throughout the mid 1990s or whether human resource managers have chosen new directions. Specifically, this study surveyed human resource professionals concerning the types of performance appraisal methods used and how such data was utilized. |
