| Tiivistelmä: | This article takes a look at the results of research carried out in the Italian alps and it determines the value that tourists attribute to a natural environment characterised by alternating pastureland and forest. The study consists in the contingent valuation method and it contributes to the identification of sustainable ways of using the environment. |
