| Tiivistelmä: | The use of factor analysis to investigate the structure of the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) General Test across handicapped and nonhandicapped groups, using a 3-factor model: verbal, quantitative and analytical item types, tested for model fit and computation of a higher factor solution to investigate total scores and discrepancies in factor structure. Method, subjects, factor model, comparison with alternative models, fit of the 3-factor model across groups, higher order factor solution, 4-factor first-order solution and the results. Ten Tables illustrate the study and the GRE general test paper is given. |
