| Tiivistelmä: | The impact of the remaining technical barriers to trade within the internal market was examined in detail at a conference in Copenhagen in September, and subsequently by the internal market council. The Copenhagen conference was an opportunity for almost 200 industry representatives to discuss their experience of trade barriers directly with Commission officials. The machinery , construction and chemical industries also demanded more effective implementation of EU law by the member states. |
