| Tiivistelmä: | The two oldest European Works Councils (EWCs) have now been in existence for several years, and two companies have even created World Works Councils (WWCs). The author was involved in the setting up and work of these bodies as part of his duties. This article reviews the experience gathered with these bodies, examines the structures created within the companies, and considers their potential transferability to other EWCs, with a view to avoiding repetition of some of the problems they encountered. |
