| Tiivistelmä: | The cash flow return on investment (CFROI) is a relatively recent development to measure shareholder value creation. The CFROI is the rate of return that discounts cash flows, including the terminal value of capital employed, back to the initial book value of capital. It should approximate the internal rate of return earned by firms and organizational units for a period under consideration. This paper considers the impact of rate of growth, retention rate, cash flow profile and asset recognition policy on CFROI. |
