| Tiivistelmä: | In 1998, the remaining sum of various kinds of deposits and loans in Shenzhen have respectively reached 28125 million and 21383.6 million yuan, among which the savings of RMB has reached 22383.7 million, 21.3% more than the end of last year. All this has provided a strong support for its 14.5% economic growth. All the above is owing to the positive currency policy carried out by Chinese People's Bank, which has promoted regional economic growth. In 1999, Shenzhen is expected to carry out suitable currency credit policy in its financial operation; to increase the degree of financial supervision and control; to improve financial service; to fight against illegal action concerning foreign exchange; to enhance the management of paying and selling foreign exchange under general term and of foreign exchange under capital term. |
