| Tiivistelmä: | The Bank of China lifted the constraint on loans by state-owned commercial banks and imposed debt/assets practice and the risk control in an all-round way on 1 January, 1998. Since the marketalization of interest rate, the static shortcomings of these measures shall be laid bare evidently. The paper, by expounding the relevance of the policy of interest rate and the growth of national economy, analyses the trend of China's interest rate policy, and lays particular emphasis on at the same time analyzing the risk with commercial banks produced by the change of interest rate in the hope that it shall help protect commercial banks from the interest rate risks and solve them. |
