Tiivistelmä: | The relation between middle management and strategy is described from two points of view, that are respectively related to the literature on strategic human resource management and on strategic management. In the first one the implementation aspects of this relation are emphasized and attention is paid to the matching of managers to strategies. On the other hand, in the literature on strategic management, attention is paid to the strategy formation role of middle management. In the paper the use of adaptive and interpretative models of strategy for strategic human resource management are considered. |
