Tiivistelmä: | The ever increasing competition between corporations, industries and whole economies is reflected nowadays very strongly in the future oriented strategic thinking in the national as well as the private sphere. What was the reason that Switzerland had become one of the richest countries? Why is the country a traditional exporter of watches and financial services, while it is not present in the international car markets. How could the international importance of Swiss multi- and transnational corporations such as Nestle, Ciba-Geigy, ABB be explained? The author of the article tries to find the answer to these questions in the integration of different issues in a strategic concept. |
