| Tiivistelmä: | In recent years, beer consumption in most western countries has been in steady decline. There are no end of reasons for this -- drink-driving legislation, higher excise duties, changing demographics, a global health kick -- but we are drinking less and less. And when we do drink beer, it is generally bottled, with a fancy label, or has a chunk of lime stuck in the neck (or occasionally worse). The pint glass is going out of fashion. Western nations are drinking less and less beer, which has left brewers looking for new markets. |
