| Tiivistelmä: | The author states that it's no longer a case of old economy versus the new economy. What they must do is work together in order to avoid the kind of mistakes that could lead their downfall. The paper is divided into five following sections: 1) Let's make something; 2) We swallowed it; 3) Screened out; 4) Combined force; 5) Get real. The paper also provides an opinion that but even if technology stocks are suddenly devalued on the world stock exchanges, that does not mean that manufacturing and other old economy companies have suddenly come good. The author states that lessons of the internet have been well documented but in the meantime, both old and new economy companies are busy learning from each other. |
