| Tiivistelmä: | The authors state that the current electricity supply industry is in an interesting situation. While the industry is ran by large companies, the energy markets have become more liberalized and the global concerns about greenhouse gas emissions has opened doors for small high technology firms as well. Within this market space the study examines at the development of fuel cells and compares the experience of two leading fuel cell firms. The authors concentrate on the potential for small firms to to play an important part as creators of "technology specific advocacy coalitions" and as promoters of a new innovative technology in various experimental situations. |
