| Tiivistelmä: | An equilibrium model of portfolio selection is presented and the impact of public information on the Pareto efficiency of the solution is investigated. It is demonstrated that public information cannot harm any of the participants if the pre-information situation was an equilibrium one; the condition for loss of utility in a non-equilibrium position are given. |
