| Tiivistelmä: | The future demand for fuel and inter-fuel substitution possibilities in the South Korean electricity sector are estimated. In order to make these estimates, a linear programming model is used. A scenario approach is adopted in creating the data relating for the future demand for electricity and fuel prices. The outline of the results is shown and the results of sensitivity tests with various alternative fuel price scenarios are contained. The demand for each fuel is discussed when the oil price varies and when the liquid natural gas price varies. |
