| Tiivistelmä: | The new federal states of Germany suffer from serious unemployment (20 % in the first quarter of 1992). To attack this high unemployment not only quantitative but also qualitative measures are taken. One of them is the establishment of a network of labour offices which cooperate with the privatising State Property Office and with state and local governments in job creation. |
