| Tiivistelmä: | Since the start of 1991 the German Institute for Economic Research, Berlin, the Institute for the World Economy, Kiel, and the Institute for Economic Research Halle have been conducting a research project commissioned by the Federal Economics minister to examine the restructuring of the east German economy. The aim of the research project has been to widen the informational base on the east German economy. The institutes have again been obliged to close gaps in the data by conducting research of their own. |
