| Tiivistelmä: | Within the framework of the research project "Macroeconomic and Microeconomic Adjustment Processes in East Germany", the Federal Ministry of the Economy has commissioned the German Institute for Economic Research, Berlin, the Institute for the World Economy, Kiel, and the Institute for Economic Research, Halle, in addition to portraying the economic situation in East Germany, to focus their observations on the topic of "The East German economy in the supra-regional division of labour." The aim of the study is to determine the weakness of East German enterprises in supra-regional competition. |
