Tiivistelmä: | There is strong evidence of transformational (henceforth as: trn.) leadership (as: l-ship) substantially influencing the work attitudes and behaviours of followers. This study aims at analyzing how trn. l-ship promotes: i. job satisfaction among employees, and ii. affective commitment to the organization. Especially, the possible mediating role of psychological empowerment (herein as: ps-empt.) in these two relationships is hypothesized and empirically tested. Ps-empt. is found to mediate the relationship btw. trn. l-ship and employee attitudes. |
