| Tiivistelmä: | Studies on decision making problems in the field of business administration are of particular interest in the case of in- complete information. Studies on the distribution of uncer- tain data commonly use solution concepts based on additive probabilities. This paper, however, concentrates on non- additive probabilities, so-called capacities. After introdu- cing the concept of non-additive probabilities, we will dis- cuss connections to decision problems with lack of informa- tion (complete ignorance) and with linear partial informa- tion. An input-output-system with incomplete information concerning the prices of inputs serves to illustrate the economic consequences on the process of decision making. Using Leontief-technologies we will show how ambiguous in- formation can influence decisions of production planning. |
