| Tiivistelmä: | The speed of the expansion of the world trade decreased since the middle of 1990 due to the economic downturn in the large industrial countries. All in all, the volume of the world trade was in 1991 3 p.c. higher than one year before. The increase of the imports in the industrial countries grew at a more moderate pace, while in a lot of developing countries the growth of imports was above the average. In the world markets of the raw materials the demand remained moderate. At nearly the same world industry output, the consumption of raw materials has decreased. |
