| Tiivistelmä: | There are some changes in demand for consumption in China. Urban residents are in the transition from having adequate food and clothing to being fairly "well-off". The rural consumer goods market and the urban market are growing synchronously. It is manifest as follows: The consumption structure is shifted from the demands of same nature to a diversity of demands. The proportion of consumption of food is declining while the consumption of high-grade durable goods and clothing, and the proportion of housing-purchasing decoration of houses, communication and transportation, medical care and old-age pension insurance in consumption are increasing. Especially, the expenditure for the purpose of culture and education grows rapidly. The behaviours of consumption is effected by advertise. People prefer brandname and good quality products. |
