| Tiivistelmä: | This article explores the variations in international tourism demand analysing the logarithm of montly tourist arrival rates from Japan, New Zealand, UK and USA to Australia. First the inbound tourism to Australia is discussed. Then a study is conducted by using following multivariate constant correlation (CCC) models: the CCC-MGARCH, vector ARMA-Garch and vector ARMA-AGARCH models. The results can be useful for tourism organizations and government agencies in evaluating the effects of tourism demand fluctuations. |
