| Tiivistelmä: | This study discusses adventure tourism in an urban setting. It is suggested that the flow of images, money, ideas and people, that are constituent of tourism, becomes understandable by regarding tourism as a structuring system in the modern world. As a consequence, future patterns in tourist consumer behaviour will be easier to predict. |
