| Tiivistelmä: | This study deals with the diffuse nature and complexity of professional communication in an applied tourism research community. Using empirical data from members of the Travel and Tourism Research Association, this study explores professional communication from the perspectives of academic vs. practitioner members. The results contribute to discussions on the 2-community theory and utilization theories as to the production, dissemination and uptake of travel and tourism research. |
