| Tiivistelmä: | This paper considers that compared with commodity trade, China's service trade lags behind apparently and has been in the state of deficit. In 1993, there was USD 2.42 billion of deficit in the revenue and expenditure of non-trade in current account. To realize the rapid economic development in China, we must accelerate the development of service industry. In addition, establishing socialist market economy and opening wider to the outside world also raise the same demand on service industry. Therefore, China's service industry will possibly enter the stage of developing rapidly in the 1990s. |
