| Tiivistelmä: | Davies launched his project and now the Port of Pembroke in West Wales is well advanced. There is now hope of economic recovery and of solving unemployment problems in this shipbuilding town. Revitalizing this object is a colossal undertaking for a small developer depending on his own resources. Davies bought or hired all the equipment required to build the port. Deep water is a big drawback at Milford Haven; bringing it to the shore was a major job. Prembroke Dock has undeniable advantages over many of Britain's major ports. For example the quays will be easier accessed than e. g. at Bristol. |
