| Tiivistelmä: | The pace of economic growth in the western industrialised countries slowed perceptibly during the six months to the end of March 1995. The persistent boom in the USA has come to an end, with output growth now only moderate. In Japan the cyclical recovery, barely under way, has become bogged down, with the threat of renewed stagnation. And in western Europe, where the upturn did not commence until the start of last year, the cyclical dynamic has cooled markedly since the autumn of 1994. |
