| Tiivistelmä: | It is estimated that China's investment in environmental protection will reach 400 billion yuan from 1996 to 2000, which includes 20 billion yuan of foreign funds and 380 billion yuan of domestic funds. As the fifth plenary session of the 14th Central Committee of the CPC stressed the coordinated development of environment and economy, the scale of investment in environmental protection from 2000 to 2010 will in increase further. The scale of investment in environmental protection will reach 850 billion yuan. According to the said forecast, the accumulated output value of the technology and facilities provided for environmental protection alone has reached 425 billion yuan. |
