| Tiivistelmä: | The Chinese government and its leaders attach great importance to the development of information undertaking and information in China. Since the mid-1980s, an information professional contingent was formed with the information centers of planning departments at central, provincial, prefecture, county (city) levels as the backbone. These information centers have constituted a more complete information system, together with the information institutions of every industry and department. In 1993, China started the second upsurge of information. In the future, China should strengthen the development of information resources, aim tightly at and trace the advanced technology in the world, take the successful and effective system models as reference and develop information services comprehensively. |
