| Tiivistelmä: | In 1997, the total industrial output value of economic and technological development zones is expected to reach 210 billion yuan, among which 166 billion yuan will be created by foreign-funded enterprises, up 20% and 23% over last year respectively. As to the volume of foreign exchange created from export, the above figures are US$ 11 billion and US$ 10 billion, up 30% and 35% respectively. The tax revenue will reach 11.6 billion yuan, up 10% over last year. Besides, it is estimated that the total contracted investment in foreign-funded projects, approved recently will stand at between US$ 5 billion and US$ 6 billion. Among it, the negotiated foreign investment at between US$ 3 billion and US$ 4 billion and the actually used foreign funds at between US$ 2.5 billion and US$ 3 billion. |
