| Tiivistelmä: | In 1996, the contradiction of resources restriction was apparently eased. The expected targets of regulation and control was fulfilled or over fulfilled. The economic growth rate for the whole year and the range of price increase stood at 10% and 6% or so respectively. At the same time, the contradiction of market restriction tended to be conspicuous which found expression mainly in many difficulties in enterprises' production and business-- falling operating rate, more stockpiles, serious arrears among enterprises, increased losses, and low and low economic returns. According to forecast in 1997, the environment for economic growth will tend to be better within stability. The economic growth rate and the range of price increase under the government's control will be 8-9% and 6-7% or so. |
