| Tiivistelmä: | According to a forecast, China's labor supply, labor demand and unemployment rate in 2000, 2010 and 2020 will be 713.58 million, 781.93 million, 775.74 million and 681.30 million, 741.43 million, 741.43 million and 4.52%, 5.18%, 4.42% respectively. With time the problem of aging population in China will become more conspicuous. After 2020, labor supply will present the trend of falling year by year. The unemployment rate, however, will be at a longer distance from the target of 4% or so, controlled under planning. So we should accelerate the development of the tertiary industry, township enterprises, education and organize overseas labor service to lighten the pressure of employment. |
