| Tiivistelmä: | This paper examines whether the adoption Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices has an effect on business performance. The study compares two groups of 55 firms. The firms in the first group belong DJSI (Dow Jones Sustainability Index) and thus have adopted sustainability practices. The second group consists of firms that have not filled the requirements of DJSI. By analyzing the link between CSR and performance indicators, the study concludes that the relation is negative in short-term. |
