| Tiivistelmä: | The study explores how corporate and business strategy lelevs might influence the competitive advantage of business units that operate in technology-intensive context. The findings show e.g. that corporate diversification within market segment affects the competitive advantage of constituting units positively. Increased product variety enables business units to gain a competitive edge over rivals. New product introductions by sister units in other market niches impair the performance of a focal unit. |
